Tresys Awarded a Multi-Million
Dollar Sole Source Contract from NSA
Leading security technology innovator selected to continue research, development, and program
support

Maryland–February 14, 2008 –Tresys Technology, a leader in security technology innovation
and services and primary contributor to Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux), today announced that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar
sole source contract from the National Security Agency / Central Security Service (NSA/CSS). The purpose of the “Software Security Support
Services” sole source is to perform the following:

Provide technical system security services to develop security requirements,
security architectures and system security designs, develop prototypes of security capabilities, and develop
reference implementations of cutting edge trusted computing components; and

Provide technical personnel to develop software enhancements and tools for
existing and emerging security technologies, such as SELinux.
Targeted areas of support include high assurance platforms,
secure operating systems for trusted applications, virtualization, assured sharing management, secure applications,
Certifiable Linux Integration Platform (CLIP), cross domain solution frameworks, and custom solutions. Skills provided
under this vehicle include systems engineering, systems analysis, product design and development, services support,
and program/project management..
