Tresys Technology Announces the
Release of the SELinux Policy IDE Version 1.1
Columbia, Maryland–April
18, 2007 –
Tresys Technology, a leader in network security technology and services
and a primary contributor to Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux), has
released version 1.1 of SLIDE, an integrated development environment
(IDE) for SELinux policy developers and integrators.
Tresys SLIDE, a free, open-source
project, provides features that make writing and testing SELinux
policies easier. SLIDE is designed for use with Reference
Policy, another open-source project by Tresys that has become the
standard for SELinux security policy development.
The new version of SLIDE provides
enhancements to the development interface, such as indicating disabled
interfaces, and supports the latest version of SETools.
The SLIDE project is just one of several Tresys-developed open source
technologies for SELinux. For
